Adopt a Friend for Life is dedicated to rescuing adoptable stray, abandoned and homeless cats and dogs.
AFL offers an alternative to animal control shelters by housing the animals in foster homes until they can be placed for adoption into loving, permanent homes. We are committed to reducing pet overpopulation by providing 100% spay/neuter for animals in our care and strive to build lifelong friendships that will enrich the human-animal bond.

Meet China,
My
name’s China and I’m a Corgi mix. I’m approximately 1 ½ years old and I
weigh 24 pounds. Don’t let my size fool you-I am a very active little pup
who is bold and somewhat independent.
However, I am also very loving and I will be 100% loyal to you.

AFL meets monthly, every fourth Wednesday of the month from 6 to 8 p.m. Everyone is welcome to attend. Our 2012
Meeting Schedule is as follows:January 25, February
22 (Annual Meeting), March 28, April 25, May 23, June 27, August 22, September
26, October 24, and November 28. There are no meetings scheduled for July
and December.
We now have a new meeting place! They will be held at
the Summer Ridge Clubhouse at 5545 Summer Ridge Road. From W. Main Street,
turn North on Maple Hill Drive next to the car dealership. Turn left at
the second street - Summer Ridge Boulevard, and it's right there on the left.
Walk in & follow the signs.
Our meetings are casual and everyone is invited. Bring your dinner with you, that's okay! This is a great way to keep in touch with fellow volunteers and happenings in AFL. Your input and ideas are always welcome!
